Really comfortable overall experience. Fairly clean place with nice hot breakfasts. The breakfasts with coffee made to our pleasure. Pretty nice bedroom. Peaceful location close to everything, in the downtown area...

the wifi wasn't that reliable, but the breakfast buffet was solid and open until 10 AM, which was super convenient. also, the view from my room was really nice, overlooking the woods! ! and the staff felt like family.

What a very pleasant stay, nothing too much trouble. Clean hotel, ABSOLUTELY HELPFUL staff, peaceful location very close to the village centre. Location close to center of Sintra as well as central area, shops, restaurants, pubs. Nearby Xentra Restaurant and Bar - great place to chill out. Lovely building and rooms with good bathroom. Good hot breakfast with plenty of hot/cold dishes.

noise issues

The location was excellent, as we were able to walk to all the main attractions of Sintra within minutes.

The hotel lacks adequate soundproofing. We could hear other guests clearly at night.

Charming terrace offered a relaxing ambiance.

I experienced several disappointments . The room had worn, uncomfortable linens, made sleeping difficult, as I resorted to using my beach towels. Housekeeping seemed erratic, as I had to search for coffee pods and deal with insufficient kitchen supplies.

We enjoyed visiting the nearby gardens and took some time for birdwatching. The staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions. The atmosphere was perfect, and the breakfast on the terrace was a nice way to start our mornings.
